Enabling Read Receipts in Zimbra

If you would like to request that a message sent has been read by your user, please do the following:

1.  Open a web browser and navigate to webmail.stanford.edu

2.  Log in using your SUNet ID & password.

3.  Select Preferences.

4.  Select Mail from the left margin.

5.  Scroll down and locate Composing Messages.

6.  Check "Always request read receipt".

7.  Select Save.

Note:  The user who receives your message must accept your read receipt request in order for you to receive confirmation.  If the request is ignore or deleted, you will not receive notification that the message has been read.
